This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how personal data is collected and processed when you use the products, applications, and websites operated by VIBECAT LTD (the “Service”), for what purposes we do so, and what rights you have.

1. Who we are

Data controller: VIBECAT LTD, a private company limited by shares registered in England and Wales, company number 17379428, registered office: 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, United Kingdom, W1W 5PF. VIBECAT LTD owns and operates the Service and determines the purposes and means of processing data related to it.

Purchases via App Store / Google Play: where a product is purchased through Apple or Google, the relevant platform acts as the seller and processes payment data under its own terms and privacy policies.

2. Data we may process

2.1 Account and communications

  • Email address (if you provide one), support requests and related correspondence.

2.2 Technical data

  • IP address, device type, operating system and version, language, time zone;
  • installation and device identifiers (for example, an installation ID), crash logs and diagnostic data.

2.3 Usage data

  • Service events (for example, success or error states) and basic quality metrics needed for support, security, and improvement of the Service.

2.4 Billing data

  • Payment and subscription status, amount, currency, date, transaction identifiers, and refund records;
  • we do not store full payment card details — they are handled by payment providers and/or Apple and Google.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Providing and maintaining the Service;
  • processing payments, invoicing, and refunds (depending on the purchase channel);
  • customer support and responding to enquiries;
  • security, and prevention of abuse and fraud;
  • improving quality and stability (diagnostics and error analysis);
  • compliance with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

4. Legal bases

We process personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 on the following bases:

  • performance of a contract (providing the Service and the licence);
  • compliance with legal obligations (billing, accounting, tax);
  • legitimate interests (security, prevention of abuse, quality improvement);
  • consent, where it is required (for example, certain marketing or analytics activities, if applicable).

5. Sharing

  • Payment processors and providers (for processing payments and fraud prevention);
  • App Store and Google Play (for managing purchases and subscriptions under their rules);
  • infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN, DDoS protection);
  • monitoring and diagnostics providers (for example, crash reporting), where used;
  • professional advisers, such as accountants and auditors, where necessary;
  • public authorities, where there is a lawful basis and within the limits of the law.

We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Our servers and vendors may be located in different countries, so data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with reasonable technical and organisational measures.

7. Retention

  • Account and support data: while you use the Service and for a reasonable period afterwards;
  • billing and accounting data: for the periods required by law and by payment system rules;
  • security and diagnostic logs: for a limited period (typically up to 180 days), unless longer retention is needed to investigate an incident.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and monitoring.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to your data, its correction, erasure, restriction of processing, or object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Send requests to support@vibecat.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

10. Cookies

The website may use cookies and similar technologies for operation, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

11. Children

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is published at /inct/policy with its effective date.
